SPC Flooring

SPC stands for stone plastic composite — a rigid-core floor plank that looks like timber but shrugs off water, dents and daily wear. It clicks together over a flat subfloor, needs no glue in most rooms, and cleans with a damp mop. It suits kitchens, rentals, offices and busy homes where real wood would struggle.

SPC Flooring questions

Is SPC really waterproof?

The planks themselves are waterproof — standing water should still be mopped up so it does not reach the subfloor through the joints.

Can SPC go over old tiles?

Usually yes, if the tiles are flat and sound. We check the subfloor before quoting.
